The proposed new 2,400 SF structure within the existing Jackson County Fire station district 5 on Highway 99 is a fire training facility. The structure is designed by the use of recycled 40 FT and 20 FT shipping container boxes stacked to create different levels and areas that can be accessed by the use of ship ladders. The facility also includes a covered apparatus parking space at the center of the stacked volumes.
