The Southern Oregon Education Services District project at 5465 S Pacific Hwy included complete reconstruction of the former SOESD Phoenix Campus that was lost during the Almeda fire of 2020. The new facility serves as the central hub for programs lost in the fire with the aim to meet the current and future needs of the organization. The new spaces are designed to provide modern, specialized environments for educational services and support programs. Arkitek facilitated brainstorming sessions with their large and dynamic employee structure to understand their specific sensorial, inclusivity and accessibility needs. This process allowed us to understand how each department identifies itself and how they want people to associate with different spaces.
