The anticipated project includes renovation of the existing Schneider Museum at 555 Indiana St, Ashland. The aim for the renovation was to increase the exhibition capacity of the museum but also help create a community hub for gathering and learning with classrooms and makerspace. The proposed design houses six galleries in total that are set at three different levels and connected through winding ramps that creates a continuous non-linear visitor experience. This ramp also becomes a unique feature of the exterior façade. The gallery at level two is a flexible space that offers banquet or large gathering facility with connected kitchen services. The roof area is designed as the final destination of the experience with a flexible space for resting with cafeteria, open gallery and views to the grizzly peak.
